Niki, RMT graduated from her 3 year program in Peterborough, Ontario in 2007. After moving herself and her practice to B.C. in 2008, she immediately found her home away from home at Spa Utopia. Since obtaining her Registrant status with the CMTBC in 2009, she has dedicated her career to helping others, and has gained knowledge and experience every day.
Niki enjoys using a variety of techniques such as Swedish massage, Neuromuscular therapy, Trigger Point therapy, Fascial release and Hydrotherapy. Niki believes in prevention, maintenance, patient education and overall well-being. A treatment with her includes an assessment and hands- on treatment, as well as home care.
Mima, RMT Since graduating from West Cost Collage of Massage Therapy's 3000 hour program in 2004, Mima has evolved and found career growth at Spa Utopia, Langley.
It was during a rotation at The BC Woman's High Risk Pregnancy Ward that she knew her focus would be in woman's health. She enjoys its many challenges and finds great rewards in helping others.
Mima is passionate and caring about these issues and enjoys continued growth and education in the profession. Mima's focus includes woman's health issues; breast care, pre and post pregnancy, and pregnancy massages.
Julia, RMT graduated in 2009 after completing the 3000 hour massage and hydrotherapy program at Utopia Academy. She started working with Spa Utopia as a body worker in October 2009 and received her diploma as an RMT in the summer of 2010. Julia has taken courses in advanced stretching, as well as assessment and treatment of the shoulder. She loves working with her guests, providing treatment and recommending remedial exercises to help her guests reach their treatment goals.
Lyndsay, RMT graduated from West Coast College of Massage therapy in 2007. Soon after graduating she began her career at Spa Utopia in Langley. Lyndsay has a passion for massage and her guests say she has a very firm touch. Lyndsay enjoys the outdoors and the many benefits of yoga. She connects with and loves working with like-minded people.
Nicole, RMT always knew she wanted to work in the health care field in the hope of helping others. It was when she herself had her first massage that she found her calling and hasn't looked back since.
Nicole graduated from the 3000 hour West Coast College of Massage Therapy program in 2001. She quickly found her home at Spa Utopia Health and Wellness Center in Langley. Over the past 14 years Nicole has built a thriving practice by focusing to not only meet, but exceed her guests' expectations each and very time she sees them. Nicole finds the atmosphere and the amenities that Spa Utopia provides to be very beneficial for her guests' relaxation and their journey towards greater health and wellness. Nicole believes wholeheartedly in the benefits of massage therapy. Not only in treating 'injuries' but also in the prevention, maintenance, and stress reduction for each of her guests.
Graciela, RMT graduated from the 3000 hour program at West Coast College of Massage therapy in 2013. During her training at WCCMT, Graciela gained exposure to different settings such as Vancouver General Hospital (Burn, Plastic and Trauma unit), BC Women's Hospital (high-risk pregnancies), Friends for life society, South Granville's senior centre, BMO marathon and WCCMT's student clinic. Her experience gave her a better understanding of the effectiveness and benefits of massage therapy.
In her treatments, modalities that she provides are Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release and joint mobilizations. Her massage approach focuses on the needs of each individual. Whether it is from musculoskeletal or psychological stress, Graciela strongly believes that massage therapy can provide relief and promote a better quality of life.
Pamela, RMT graduated from WCCMT in 2005 and has been working as an RMT for Spa Utopia for the past 10 years. Pamela is passionate about living a healthy and active lifestyle and enjoys interacting with people. She thrives on making people feel better and has compassion towards the needs of her clients.
Kelly S., RMT (currently on Maternity Leave) graduated from VCMT with Dean's List Honours in 2012. During that time she became passionate about working with women during their prenatal and postpartum journeys. Her continuing education has focused on massage during labour, delivery, and through the postpartum period. She believes in integrating therapeutic techniques into relaxation massage so your treatment can be both effective and enjoyable. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, gardening, and cooking.
Jayson, RMT graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2004. He has been an RMT at Spa Utopia for the past 10 years. Jayson enjoys performing the variety of treatments Spa Utopia has to offer, including deep tissue and sport therapies. Jayson feels there is no better place to work as an RMT, and enjoys the relationships he has built at the Spa.
Michelle, RMT graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2004. She has worked with Spa Utopia for the past 10 years. She is passionate about massage therapy and enjoys that each day brings her new experiences and opportunities to grow as an RMT. Michelle chose massage therapy in order to help others reach their health care goals. She has always had an affinity for working with the aging population and is eager to share her knowledge and skills with the public.
Marika, RMT attended West Coast College of Massage Therapy and completed the Registered Massage Therapy program in 2016. She is energetic, friendly and very passionate about massage therapy.
Outside of work Marika loves being outdoors; snowboarding, playing soccer, gardening and hiking, which are just a few of the many hobbies she enjoys. Marika loves the friendly atmosphere at the spa but most of all she loves the great relationships she has made connecting with co-workers.

Matt, RMT After having his life changed for the better by a Registered Massage Therapist, Matt decided that he wanted to be able to do the same for others. He graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2014. Along with helping others, Matt enjoys music, golf, good food and good company.
Yuko, RMT graduated West Coast Collage of Massage Therapy in April 2014. During her training she began to gain valuable experience in treating many different types of pathologies including neuro, osteo, and muscular. She believes in the art of natural healing and enjoy being able to help others.
Sarah B, RMT has a passion for helping people to live an active and healthy lifestyle. She herself was exposed to massage therapy as a young athlete for maintenance and injury prevention. Such experiences motivated her to learn the human body and how she could help others prevent and recover from injuries and meet their personal goals.
Sarah is a recent graduate from WCCMT's 3000-hour advance program. She has provided treatment at BC Women's Hospital, UBC varsity football, swimming, volleyball & rugby teams, as well as nursing homes for elderly.
Sarah's goal is to determine the underlying cause of the issue and focus on making corrections though clinical treatment and home care, such as stretching, strengthening exercises, and hydrotherapy. She keeps in mind that no two people are alike and creates a personalized treatment that is specific to their needs.
Sarah is very fascinated on how the body works and believes it's important to continue educating herself for the benefit of her guests. She believes that everyone can benefit from massage therapy, whether it's to relax and decrease stress or treat and prevent injury.
Kailee, RMT graduated from her two year RMT program at CDI College South Surrey in 2016. She is excited and motivated to begin her career at Spa Utopia providing both therapeutic and relaxation massage in the exquisitely tranquil setting of Spa Utopia. Outside of work she is passionate about music, singing, art, and spending time with family and friends.
Jenelle is a non-registered graduate from the 2 year program at West Coast College of Massage Therapy in April 2015. Growing up with family in the health care field, as well as being an athlete her whole life, Jenelle has always had a passion for the human body. Massage therapy has helped her many times in her own life and she wanted to be able to do the same for others. She finds that working in the spa allows both healing of the body and the mind. Outside of work Jenelle enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, snowboarding and spending time with her dog.
Laurel, RMT graduated from WCCMT in 2005, and has been working as part of the Spa Utopia team on and off for the past 8 years. Laurel has always had a passion for taking care of others and knew right away that she was meant to be a massage therapist. She believes strongly in treating the body as a whole and letting the tension in the tissues define the massage session. That being said she loves performing all varieties of massage therapy from pregnancy massage to classic swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and joint play. Laurel loves to interact with clients and is committed to their health and well being.
Nic (currently on maternity leave ) graduated from the 2 year massage therapy program at Northern Institute of Massage Therapy in Alberta. She graduated in 2013 and practiced massage at a leading spa in Edmonton. Since moving to the lower mainland in 2017, she is currently in the process of obtaining her registration with the CMTBC. She has found that continuing her massage career at Spa Utopia has been a natural fit. Whole body wellness and healing have always been a passion for Nic. She puts utmost care into each individual on the table, where even relaxation treatments can have therapeutic benefits on the body as a whole. Nic enjoys the outdoors, camping, hiking, skiing and much more along with her husband, 2 kids and dog. Moving to Beautiful British Columbia has had major perks for her family of adventure seekers,
Taylor, RMT graduated from Langara College's RMT program in December 2017. Her experiences throughout the program have given her the knowledge, skills and confidence to make a difference with each individual she meets.
As a lifelong resident of Langley, BC she was eager to begin her career close to home and felt that Spa Utopia's restful and calming atmosphere would be a perfect fit for her 'self-care is healthcare' mentality.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring BC's beautiful landscapes and reading every book she can find.
Erin, RMT graduated in December 2017, from the 2-year program at the West Coast College of Massage. Erin enjoys working and learning with each new guest she meets. As she enters this new journey as an RMT, she looks forward to expanding her knowledge of techniques and how to provide the best care possible. She would like to concentrate on advancing her knowledge in the women's health field and hopes to one day focus her energy in this direction. sh
Erin has always known she wanted to work taking care of others and after a short time in the animal health care profession decided that working with her fellow humans might be a better fit.

Ashley, RMT and SMT (sports massage therapist) has been practicing since 2011. Her passion for massage began during her international travels and previous experience as a spa therapist. Ashley's practice focus ranges throughout a wide variety of subjects including sport/overuse injuries, nerve compressions, addressing/managing postural dysfunction and scar tissue management.
From her experience in spas to treating the Vancouver Whitecaps and Olympic athletes, she brings a well rounded approach to massage therapy. Ashley has taken her personal training certificate, Graston M1 course and is currently pursuing her Bachelors of Health Science.
As an advocate for preventative therapy, Ashley empowers her clients through education, encourages a proactive lifestyle and believes that massages are essential for ones overall well-being.
