The Massage Therapy Team at Spa Utopia Pan Pacific Vancouver
"The most important person on your road to recovery is you."
Tom graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in December 2010 and has been working at Spa Utopia since February 2011. His interest in massage therapy stemmed from a lower back injury suffered during his competitive martial arts days in Ireland. The road to recovery ignited his passion for healing and encouraged him to pursue his education in massage therapy so that he could help others who were going through the same challenges as him. After spending the best part of two years working as a massage therapist on cruise ships, Tom moved to Vancouver where he sought to upgrade his skills at WCCMT.
Tom chose to work in at Spa Utopia as he believes that the combination of therapeutic treatment coupled with a supremely relaxing experience help his guests achieve the maximum benefits from each treatment. Being able to sit and relax after a treatment rather than immediately returning to the hustle and bustle of the outside world is an important part of the recovery process.
His customer service background compliments his treatment style and enables him to give each guest a memorable experience as well as the best possible treatment, based on what they are presenting with, on any given day.
Tom utilizes neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, trigger-point therapy and deep tissue techniques as the main components of his treatments.

She does everything from hydrotherapy, relaxation and therapeutic massages. She works with people experiencing headaches, desk and work stress, pregnancy, general life, and more.
Believing strongly in self-care, Whitney takes an interest not only on the table, but off the table as well. She is a firm believer of proper breathing, hydration, sleep quotas, education and stretching.
